The Science

What is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated therapy that helps children with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop practical, meaningful skills. It works by understanding how the environment influences behaviour, then using that understanding to teach communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, independence, and daily living skills through positive reinforcement. ABA is recognized as a best-practice treatment for ASD by the U.S. Surgeon General, the American Psychological Association, and is the foundation of Ontario's Autism Program (OAP). At Superstar ABA, every program is individually designed by a BCBA and delivered by trained therapists who know your child personally — not a generic curriculum applied wholesale.

Home-Based ABA Therapy

What it is

Our therapists travel to your home anywhere across the GTA to deliver structured, one-on-one ABA therapy sessions tailored to your child's individual program.

How it works

Sessions designed and supervised by a BCBA. Therapists use your home environment intentionally — kitchen routines, play areas, transitions — to teach practical skills in context.

Who it's for

Children who benefit from learning in a familiar, low-stimulation environment. Ideal for early intervention and children with significant anxiety or sensory sensitivities.

  • BCBA-designed individualized program
  • Regular clinical supervision and progress review
  • Parent coaching integrated into sessions
